Grants Management

  • OLA helps to strengthen the infrastructure of the community-based agencies and businesses serving the Latino community. It seeks funding and provides grants for special programs, projects and services.
  • OLA manages the following six main grant programs that aid in providing quality services to the Latino community through local community-based organizations:
    1. Bilingual Health Access Program (BHAP), per agreement with the DC Income Maintenance Administration (IMA)
    2. Latino Community Education (LCE)
    3. Latino Community Health (LCH)
    4. Latino Gang and Youth Violence Prevention and Intervention Program
    5. Latino Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Services (LSAPTS), per agreement with the DC Department of Health's Addiction Prevention and Recovery Administration (APRA)
    6. Positive Resources and Opportunities for Urban Youth in DC (PROUrbanYouthDC)
